A behind the scenes feature on how we came to choose Stickman as the face of PAK'nSAVE. And how we don't...
PAK'nSAVE Stickman TV adverts have often been
well received by the public. Last night, our 'Pony' ad was chosen
as a finalist on the Fair Go Ad Awards.
Fair Go, one of New Zealand's longest running
and best-rated programmes, hold their Ad Awards each year. This
year, there were four finalists in total. The other finalists
were:
Sky TV's Match Fit
ASB Bank's Boy and His Sheep
Lotto's Wilson
While Lotto's Wilson took the first place award, we're still
proud of our Stickman for making the top four.

Finding Stickman
The 2011 Fair Go Ad Awards wasn't Stickman's first appearance on
the series. Back in 2010, PAK'nSAVE featured on Fair Go with a
behind-the-scenes feature on Stickman's story.
The video featured Billy McQueen and Chris Schofield from
DraftFCB, and Rob Chemaly from Foodstuffs. It explains exactly how
Stickman was chosen for the role, as well as, for the the first
time in front of the camera, the voice.
Both appear in a special interview with Fair Go's Hannah
Wallis.
