PAK’nSAVE (LNI) Christmas Club Promotion 

Terms & Conditions 

Promotional Period 

 1. Foodstuffs (N.Z.) Limited (Foodstuffs or the Promoter) is the promoter of the PAK’nSAVE Christmas Club (LNI) promotion (the Promotion).

2. The Promotion is an online competition draw available for entry by PAK’nSAVE Christmas Club members in the Lower North Island that comply with the entry conditions in these terms and conditions.   

3. The Promotion runs from Monday, 3 July 2023 until 12am on Friday, 29 of September 2023 (Promotion Period). 

4. By entering the Promotion, you agree to these terms and conditions. 

How to enter 

5. To qualify to enter this prize draw, customers must register their PAK’nSAVE Christmas Club card before 12am on Friday, 29 September 2023. Instructions on how to register your card can be found here. You will receive one entry into the draw for registering your PAK’nSAVE Christmas Club card. As the PAK’nSAVE North Island Christmas Club Terms and Conditions only permit a person to have one card, you may only enter this Promotion once.

6. Incomplete or invalid registrations, or those not submitted in accordance with the entry instructions or the online instructions for registration, will not be accepted. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, misdirected or rejected entries. 

Prize  

7. There are 100 $50 cash boosts available to be won by PAK’nSAVE Christmas Club Members who have submitted a valid entry in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (the Promoter’s choice of prize is subject to clause 9 of these terms and conditions). The total prize pool is valued at $5,000 NZD.

8. A cash boost will be added to your PAK’nSAVE Christmas Club card balance. It will not be payable in cash or by any other means.   

9. Payment of a cash boost is subject to the PAK’nSAVE North Island Christmas Club Terms and Conditions (available here), particularly (but without limitation) the maximum account balances in such terms. If payment of a cash boost would result in your card balance exceeding the maximum account balances, you will be awarded a $50 PAK’nSAVE gift card as an alternative prize.  The Promoter may choose to provide a PAK’nSAVE gift card as an alternative prize to a cash boost, at the Promoter’s absolute discretion.

10. Winners will be drawn on the last Friday of each month within the Promotion Period. Foodstuffs may choose to carry out one or more draws in a particular month. Foodstuffs reserves the right to vary the day on which the draw is carried out and to not carry out a draw in a particular month.  Foodstuffs will carry out the draw and communicate the results to winners via the email address provided by each winner as part of the PAK’nSAVE Christmas Club registration process. 

11. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.  

Other terms 

12. The Promoter’s decisions and the draw results are final and not subject to appeal.

13. Winners are only eligible to win once during the Promotion Period.   

14. The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate this Promotion at any time.

15. The Promoter may amend these terms and conditions at any time and wherever possible such amended terms and conditions will be displayed online at paknsave.co.nz/christmascomp-terms

16. To the extent permitted by law, participants waive all claims they may have otherwise had against Foodstuffs or Participating Stores in relation to this Promotion.   

Exclusion of liability

17. Subject to any applicable laws which cannot be excluded, the Promoter and each PAK’nSAVE store in the Lower North Island (Participating Store), their respective employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature incurred or suffered by any person (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Promotion or with the use of any prize.

18. The Promoter and any Participating Store may, in their sole discretion, refuse to provide a prize if it believes that a customer has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner or otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions.  

Disputes 

19. In the event of a dispute concerning any aspect of the promotion the decision of the Promoter will be final. No correspondence concerning any decision made by the Promoter will be entered into. 

Privacy and Contact 

20. All entries remain the property of Foodstuffs. Your personal information may be used to conduct this Promotion and for future promotional and publicity purposes in relation to this Promotion. By entering this Promotion you consent to the collection of and use of your personal information for these purposes. Foodstuffs’ PAK’nSAVE Privacy Policy (available here) will apply to all personal information that we collect from you.
