Gourmet Garden Basil Cold Blended Paste is made with sweet basil that is harvested in the early morning when their essential oils are at their peak. Transported within 18 hours of harvest to our Palmwoods factory where they are washed, chopped and cold blended for fresher flavour that lasts for 4 weeks*. Basil is best added towards the end of your cooking and is ideal in Italian cuisine like pesto, pasta, pizza, creamy sauces, dressings, soups and frittatas.
