Potato, onion and spaghetti bake
A cheesy, delicious and filling savoury dish the whole family will love.

- 2 cans spaghetti
- 1 large onion
- Knob of butter
- Pinch of mixed herbs
- 5-6 large potatoes
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 3/4 cup grated cheese
- Peel and boil potatoes til cooked, mash with butter and milk.
- Dice onion and cook in knob of butter, add in mixed herbs and cook until onion is clear.
- Lightly grease a baking dish and place one tin of spaghetti in bottom. Scatter half the onions over spaghetti then add a layer of potato, using half the mashed potato. Sprinkle half the grated cheese on top.
- Repeat that process to create another layer - one tin of spaghetti, followed by onion, potato and the remaining cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes in a 160C oven. Let sit for 10 mins before serving.
Serving tip
Cook some frozen mixed vegetables to add some extra nutrition to the plate.
