To keep your accounts secure, make sure you follow these essential tips:
• Use a strong, unique password for each of your accounts. Avoid reusing passwords across different platforms.
• Beware of phishing and brand impersonation. Ensure the website you are on has a legitimate URL.
• Be cautious when using public Wi-Fi networks. They can be less secure.
• Before giving out any personal information, check the website or link is legitimate and verify the identity of anyone requesting your personal information. For example the PAK'nSAVE website looks like this: https://www.paknsave.co.nz.
• Think twice before clicking on links, especially if they seem suspicious.
• Keep all your devices updated with the latest security patches.
