Easy slow cooker meatballs
Meatballs can be time-consuming to prepare, especially after a busy day at work. Make your weeknights easier by preparing this slow cooker meatball recipe over the weekend and freezing it until you’re ready for your crockpot to work its magic.

- 400g beef mince
- 1 onion, diced finely
- 1 Onion Soup Mix
- ½ Tbsp soy sauce
- ½ Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ Tbsp tomato sauce
- ½ Tbsp sweet chilli sauce
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1 Tin tomatoes
- 1 Tin pasta sauce
Side Ingredients
- 400g spaghetti
- 2 carrots
- 2 zucchini
1. In a large mixing bowl, add the mince, onion, onion soup mix, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, sweet chilli sauce, mixed herbs, egg and flour.
2. Mix thoroughly until combined – add extra flour if the mixture is too sticky.
3. Roll into 8 large meatballs, place in a snaplock bag with the tinned tomatoes and
pasta sauce and freeze.
4. Cook on low for 4-5 hours (until meatballs are fully cooked).
5. If the sauce has thickened too much, add a small amount of water and stir.
6. Serve your meatballs with pasta, steamed zucchini and carrots.
