Easy butter chicken tray bake
Use Pams Butter Chicken Simmer Sauce for a delicious and hassle-free dinner for any night of the week. Quick to prep, just the combine ingredients in a tray and let the oven do the work for you!

- 1 packet Pams Free Range Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
- 2 x Pams Brown Onions, diced
- 2 Tbsp Pams Curry Powder
- 1 ¼ cups Pams Basmati Rice
- 2 tsp Pams Crushed Garlic
- ½ jar Pams Butter Chicken Simmer Sauce
- Add the chicken thighs, diced onion, curry powder and ¼ cup of simmer sauce to a large oven dish and toss to combine. Bake in the oven uncovered for 10 minutes at 220°C.
- Remove from the oven and take the chicken out of the dish and set aside.
- Add the rice and garlic to the roasting dish and season generously with salt and pepper. Pour over 2 cups of hot water and mix to combine. Lay the chicken on top and cover the dish with tinfoil. Place back in the oven for 35 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the chicken is cooked through.
- Drizzle over the remaining simmer sauce and cook uncovered for a further 5 minutes before serving.
Tips
- To add some nutritious veges to your meal, add half a bag of Pams Green Beans to your curry for the last 5 minutes of cooking.
- Serve with a drizzle of natural yoghurt and a sprinkle of fresh coriander.
