1 tbsp honey
Fresh parsley, to serve (optional)

Tips and FAQs
- Don’t overcook: Aim for tender with a slight bite. Mushy carrots won’t hold the glaze as well.
- Slice evenly: This helps everything cook at the same rate.
- Boost the flavour: A pinch of salt or squeeze of lemon juice balances the sweetness perfectly.
How do I store leftovers?
Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a pan or microwave.
Can I roast instead of steam?
Absolutely — roasting will give you deeper flavour. Toss carrots with butter and honey and roast at 200°C until caramelised.
Do I need to peel the carrots?
No need to peel if your carrots are fresh — just scrub well and slice.
