In 1984, Paul Davies started growing popping corn on his farm in Te Awamutu and popping it in his home kitchen. The popularity of his fresh popcorn grew quickly throughout the Waikato region and across the rest of country in the late 80’s. It’s been New Zealand’s best-selling popcorn ever since.
