When buying lamb, the amount you purchase will depend on the number of guests you’re serving, if side dishes are to be served, and whether the meat is boneless.
Where lamb is the main dish, paired with sides, allow 225g of raw lamb per person. For bigger appetites increase this serving size to 300g per person. If using diced or minced lamb in a dish like curry or stir fry allow 115-150g per person.
